The area of responsibility includes in particular the following tasks:
The candidate shall autonomously
• evaluate offers and issue orders
• evaluate production processes of suppliers.
• influence the quality system of the suppliers and of the delivery (despatch reliability)
• support the engineers with the purpose to improve the standardisation Documents
• Prepare purchase contracts and deal with the relative warranties and penalties
• Prepare and issue specifications for Chinese suppliers
• Prepare quality related documents during the expediting process Procedures
• Analysing demand and grouping the orders (bundling)
• Prepare and negotiate framework contracts
• NCR handling
* Typical Education Level（典型学历要求）:
• Bachelor of related majors, such as Mechanical Engineering, Material, Metallurgy,etc
* Job experience（工作经历）:
• At least 4 years experience in procurement or production of castings/Forging, preferably in contact with multinational companies
* Specialized knowledge and skills（专业知识及技能）:
• Mechanical Engineering background, preferably in depth knowledge of metallurgy
• Knowledge of the market of the suppliers in Changzhou and surrounding area
• Knowledge of casting technology
• Reading and comprehension of bills of material and other technical as well as commercial documents
• Knowledge of contract conditions, as well as framework contracts
• Familiar with import/export procedures favourable
• Familiar with inspection quarantine bureau
• Knowledge of logistics
• Knowledge of the ERP systems (SAP preferred), especially with logistics, material management, and purchases.
* Required language（语言要求） :
• Language: English fluent in spoken and writing, German favourable
